The great adventure of Life ! It can so easily pass us by ,buried in misgivings and longings for "the leeks and onions"".. But look at you , trusting for the 'streams in the desert " you and yours are experiencing an abundant life , filled with the gift of the present !
Thank you for sharing your journey of courage .....it inspires me to believe that even in my Autumn Years , there is still adventure if we trust and are prepared to step into His vision for us .
Always up for adventure! I must say that walking with Jesus especially in a Primary Health setting in Africa holds adventures every day . Mos of them incredibly humbling!!
It’s so powerful to see how you navigated every step of this move. What a wonderful post that translates into so many of life’s big changes. Proud of the brave life you’ve lived and are living still, friend.
Thanks, Laura! I’m looking forward to the creative speed dating cohort coming up this fall! It has been such a gift to have creative cheerleaders like you in my corner!
Wow, this list of growth and accomplishments is such a testament to the effort you have invested. I’m amazed by your endurance through the tough moments! Love that you took the time to document such an impactful period.
Thanks, Leslie! It felt a little funny writing out all the changes/accomplishments, but I’m glad I have the list to look back on. It wasn’t just my imagination that this was a pretty momentous yearn
Love this perspective. We move roughly every 2 years because of military orders but seeing all the good that came from your elective move is actually similar to what I’ve experienced with each of our military moves.
That change of location/scenery can really propel you to step outside of your comfort zone.
Thanks for sharing, Amber! In the middle of the move I had to remind myself that people like you do this all the time—I felt like my whole world was falling apart! I can see how moving frequently would make it easier to embrace the new and grow your tolerance for discomfort.

Thank you, Aileen! Yes, there is still adventure out there for you if you’re willing to say yes!

Thank you for being there for me every step of the move!
I’ve loved hearing about how your move has opened up new dreams and possibilities for you (and especially loved having your in our creative cohorts!).
