Aly! I love everything about this. Wow. What a great truth to remember and so freeing. Thanks for sharing. And for your kind words.

ALYYYYYY I literally felt like I was on holy ground when listening to you read your poem. In fact, right after the recording finished, I went back and listened to it again because I did not want the moment to end.

My favorite phrases—besides all of them—are: “punctuated by pleasure” and when “let it be good” is repeated like a mantra at the end.

Thank you for blessing Those Of Us Who Are Inconsistent!!

Thank you, Lisa. I’m humbled to bless you in this way. 💛

Also, “let it be good” seems to be the antidote to OCD. I’m currently struggling more with letting something be over.

Oh my word this made me cry. I get this, all of it. Thank you for this blessing. I will keep it.

also if I may pass on a blessing for you--something I have been given and found to be true-the thought that every good thing builds on itself. My mental image is a wagon track: every time I practice music, or make a smoothie, or take a sunshine walk, it is itself a blessing but also clarifies that path and makes it easier to find for the next time-whether that's next day or next month or next year !💛

I love this!

Katy, I love the idea of good things building like wagon tracks and paving the way for more good. I’m playing around with a post on the idea of creative lily pads—-actions that buoy me in the moment and get me to the next step/project/idea. It’s similar to your wagon idea 💛 I always seem drawn to water metaphors.

Wow, it fills my heart to know how meaningful this was to you. Please keep it and marinate in it. You are blessed, just as you are 💛

Those 2 last stanzas in your blessing are exactly what I needed to read this morning. Forever in the messy middle, showing up, scattered, scrambling, and held by God. Thank you for this reminder, friend. 💛

So glad this met you where you’re at, friend. You’re such an inspiration to me as someone who keeps showing up and making beautiful things while juggling all the things. 💛

"Blessed is the energy you have today Blessed is your current capacity"- the reminder I need, especially as we start May and head into summer! Also I immediately thought of you when I read Kim's blessing for going to the water in her book.

Yes! Our capacity is going to shift wildly when school is out! Grace for yourself 💛 I loved that water blessing—especially the part about coming home to ourselves.

I love this and I am loving the book so far. I’m reading the blessings in random order and the graduation blessing I have read several times this week. Such a beautiful read.
